Program operator

The Public Safety Registry and the Public Safety Identity Authority (PSIA) are operated by the Coosada 911 Communications District, a public body organized under the laws of the State of Alabama.

Trademarks

Verified Public Safety™ is a program of the Coosada 911 Communications District. Branded Calling ID™ and BCID™ are service marks of CTIA. All other marks belong to their respective owners.

Registry data

The public number-verification tool discloses only that a telephone number is registered to a verified public safety organization, the organization's public display name, and its general type and jurisdiction. Sensitive credentials submitted during vetting (including law-enforcement identifiers) are access-controlled and are never published publicly.

Privacy

Information submitted through agency enrollment is used solely to verify organizational identity and administer the program. Impersonation reports may be shared with affected agencies, telephone carriers, and law enforcement. We do not sell personal information.

911 services

This program does not affect how you call 911. In an emergency, always dial 911.
